About the role
- Business Analyst in Banking at CPU Consulting responsible for products and processes in banking with a focus on securities business. Collaborating with the Product Owner to develop customer-driven solutions from concept to market.
Responsibilities
- Independently analyze, evaluate, and align business requirements in the banking domain
- Create functional specifications, requirements documents, and user stories
- Support the Product Owner with backlog maintenance, prioritization, refinement, and release planning
- Capture and document business processes and interfaces, and derive functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop and execute business test cases
- Support test automation and ensure the business quality of deliverables
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes
- Closely coordinate with business units, development teams, and partners
- Support the entire product lifecycle
Requirements
- Completed banking apprenticeship or degree with a focus on finance, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the banking environment, ideally in investment/advisory services, securities operations, or comparable processes
- Experience in requirements analysis, process management, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of testing and quality assurance, ideally with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ADOIT, or similar tools
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and processes in the banking environment
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
