About the role
- Bid Manager responsible for managing tender processes within DATAGROUP, a leading IT services provider. Ensuring timely proposals and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for tender processes from the internal kick-off meeting through to final contract finalization
- Ensure adherence to internal schedules and timely submission of proposals
- Work closely with Sales, Presales, specialist departments, Legal and Finance to develop tailored proposals
- Coordinate internal approval processes and involve relevant stakeholders early
- Review all bid documentation for completeness and compliance with legal requirements
- Manage relevant tender platforms and ensure information is communicated to technical teams
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science, Communication, or comparable vocational training (e.g., IT systems salesperson/IT commercial clerk)
- Relevant experience in bid management or handling complex tenders
- Ideally experience in IT services, Managed Services, software or system integration
- Confident user of MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with various tender portals is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and a high degree of independence
- Experience with public sector tendering is an advantage
- Analytical mindset to assess customer requirements, market trends and tender data
- Team player with initiative and enthusiasm for the role
