About the role
- Avaloq Developer / Business Analyst for international bank's IT department in Zürich. Analyzing processes in Avaloq systems and implementing technical solutions in hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing analysis of business processes within Avaloq systems and identification of improvements through intelligent, flexible solutions
- Structured and methodical approach to analyzing and visualizing complex business requirements
- Act as the Avaloq expert responsible for implementing technical solutions, either as project manager or in collaboration with the IT department
- Ongoing system adjustments through parameterization
- Responsible for advisory and support activities to ensure optimal use of the application and to facilitate knowledge transfer within teams
- Responsible for continuous error analysis as a basis for further system improvements
- Ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Avaloq Professional certification advantageous
- Solid understanding of the Avaloq core system and its underlying concepts
- Module knowledge (e.g., Treasury, Payments, Portfolio Management, Tax, Loans)
- Strong understanding of the interdependencies between modules as part of a front-to-back wealth-tech solution
- Knowledge of limit systems as well as risk monitoring and control
- Interest in analysis and solution design
- Strong interest in error analysis, experience with error handling (Avaloq/Oracle) and testing to resolve issues
- Analytical skills, ability to work independently and be team-oriented
- Conscientiousness and the drive to see tasks through to completion
- Straightforward communicator with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
- English required; German is a plus
