As an Automation Intelligence Engineer in Battery Analytics, you develop and optimize test data ecosystems that automate all test rigs, analyze test results in real time (including with AI), and present them audit-proof, traceable, and understandable in dashboards.
Overall responsibility for automation architecture in testing: you develop databases and automation scripts that support colleagues in the test field from cell intake to data storage and consistently reduce manual work steps.
Implementation & maintenance of AI-based analysis pipelines: you decide which models are appropriate and where to use them so that faults can be detected as quickly as possible and our reports automatically contain a wealth of insights.
Structuring reporting & traceability: you build automated dashboards that serve as decision support both internally and externally.
Requirements
You hold a degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Ideally, you have experience analyzing large datasets and working with databases, statistical or visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
You are familiar with battery or testing systems—or motivated to quickly get up to speed in this area.
You have knowledge of software development (backend/frontend), test automation, and CI/CD environments (e.g., Docker).
Benefits
Flexible work, focused delivery: freedom in day-to-day work, responsibility for results.
Performance matters: we invest in people who deliver—with strong benefits and genuine development opportunities.
Think ahead: capital-building contributions (vermögenswirksame Leistungen) & pension provision for those shaping the future.
Energy that drives: subsidized vegetarian meals in the V‑Lounge—healthy and efficient.
Mobility with purpose: charge your electric vehicle with our own PV-generated power, use JobRad (company bike leasing) or our in-house carsharing—sustainability as a core value.
