About the role
- Senior Operating Engineer at JLL responsible for maintenance and repairs of building systems. Ensuring compliance with safety standards while optimizing building operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on work to complete necessary maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with JLL standards.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of Operational Maintenance and Repair (OM&R) strategies to optimize building systems and equipment within the designated territory.
- Execute JLL quality control audits and inspections throughout the territory, reporting deficiencies to supervisors.
- Provide technical assistance, training, and support to teams within the territory to enhance their understanding of building operations, troubleshooting, and hands-on repair guidance.
- Complete various maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, door and gate systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and other associated tasks.

- Evaluate, train, teach, and coach a workforce of Lead Engineers, Facility Engineers, and Maintenance Technicians as requested by supervisors.
- Possess hands-on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial buildings and building systems, adhering to industry standards and all relevant codes, laws, and regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair services on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems to ensure peak operational condition.
