About the role

  • Business Development Manager in Real Estate finance, focused on acquiring new SME clients through broker relationships. Promoting real estate banking expertise in the local community with Lloyds Banking Group.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the acquisition of new Switchers and associated funding solutions from your Broker portfolio.
  • There is an expectation to look for new Broker’s and to promote the bank with professionals and key influencers in your local area.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of brokers, identifying new opportunities and promoting our real estate banking solutions.
  • Deliver creative funding strategies in the Residential and Commercial Investment Term lending market.
  • Write high-quality credit proposals and ensure compliance with conduct risk standards.
  • Represent the bank through digital advocacy and professional social media.
  • Collaborate across teams to bring the full breadth of Lloyds Banking Group to your clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in banking, with a strong understanding of SME and real estate sector funding.
  • A track record of acquiring new clients through broker and professional networks.
  • Specialist credit knowledge and the ability to tailor funding solutions to complex needs.
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for adopting digital tools that improve client experience.
  • Strong ethics and integrity, representing the bank with professionalism across all interactions.
