About the role

  • Associate Director Marketing leading Consumer Brands marketing strategies for Wella in DACH region. Responsible for achieving ambitious KPIs through innovative and effective marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • You will take full responsibility for all marketing activities of Wella Company Consumer Brands in the DACH region
  • You will drive toward ambitious KPIs such as market share, successful product launches and outstanding media performance
  • You will actively shape the brand’s future by developing and implementing innovative, national and long-term business plans and brand strategies
  • You will identify trends, analyze markets and products, and proactively derive recommendations and actions for global marketing
  • You will ensure excellent launches of new segments and products and manage the existing portfolio with an optimal mix of modern marketing tools
  • You will develop creative media, PR, digital and influencer strategies
  • You will plan and manage high-impact advertising campaigns and consumer promotions and implement them together with cross-functional teams
  • You will be responsible for the marketing budget, monitor brand profitability and take targeted measures to achieve ambitious marketing goals
  • You will support and develop your team both professionally and personally and create an inspiring working environment
  • You will lead external agencies (PR, media, promotion, digital, influencer) with foresight and efficiency
  • You will continuously optimize processes, leverage synergies and drive innovation
  • You will represent the company professionally at national and international events, conferences and client meetings

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing or Sales
  • Extensive relevant professional experience (>8 years) in marketing within an internationally active consumer goods company
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Marketing experience in Beauty and consumer goods
  • Strong expertise in Influencer Marketing, Media and Digital Marketing
  • Previous experience in a global marketing role is an advantage
  • Confident and persuasive personality with leadership abilities
  • Experience leading employees and multifunctional teams
  • High level of intercultural competence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and independent working style
  • Strong decision-making capability
  • Change management experience and strategic thinking
  • Ability to set priorities and goals and to operate effectively amid ambiguity
  • Creativity and strong digital affinity, with hands-on experience managing social media
  • High analytical skills
  • Strong service and customer orientation
