About the role

  • Marketing Studies Manager conducting media audience analysis for RMC BFM Group. Responsible for strategic insights and recommendations based on audience data.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze media audiences
  • Leverage audience data for all RMC BFM Group assets (BFM TV, RMC, RMC Story, RMC Découverte, RMC Life, RMC Sport) across all platforms (TV, radio, digital, streaming and social media)
  • Analyze the performance of programs, content and platforms
  • Monitor key indicators: reach, audience share, time spent listening/viewing, engagement, coverage, frequency...
  • Identify changes in consumption and media usage trends
  • Design and implement ad hoc studies (usage, perception, satisfaction, content testing...)
  • Define appropriate methodologies (panels, digital tracking, survey research...)
  • Coordinate research vendors and data providers and monitor data reliability
  • Translate audience data into operational recommendations
  • Contribute to optimizing programming, scheduling and distribution strategies
  • Support editorial and marketing teams in their decision-making
  • Produce regular reports and executive presentations
  • Support communications teams to promote the group's brands
  • Track the evolution of media usage and multi-screen behavior
  • Analyze competitors and comparative market performance
  • Maintain expertise in audience measurement tools and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain audience dashboards
  • Improve measurement and analysis methods

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in marketing, media, statistics, data or a business school background
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in media research, audience measurement or analytics
  • Experience in a media environment, ad sales, market research institute or digital platform
  • Technical skills
  • Cross-media audience measurement analysis
  • Panel methodologies and digital tracking
  • Statistical analysis and interpretation of large datasets
  • Data and BI tools (advanced Excel essential) - Plus: SQL, visualization tools, statistical software...
  • Must have: proficiency with audience measurement software such as Restit TV, Cresus
  • Behavioral skills
  • Strong media culture and understanding of consumer usage
  • Analytical mindset with a business orientation
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate findings clearly
  • Methodological rigor
  • Project management with multiple stakeholders
