About the role

  • Intern supporting event project management within Handicap International’s Communication - Mobilisation service. Focus on organizing citizen engagement Pyramids deployments in Lyon.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the National Association, the internship will take place within Handicap International’s Communication - Mobilization department at the Lyon headquarters.
  • Provide support to the Communication - Mobilization team in their awareness-raising activities and projects.
  • Event and logistical support for the preparation and implementation of Shoe Pyramid deployments.
  • Support the organization and coordination of the Shoe Pyramid tour.
  • Partner and supplier relations: research, event coordination, monitoring commitments, communication and relationship building.
  • Participation in deployments: a support role for overall coordination (throughout France) and for raising awareness among our different audiences.

Requirements

  • You are currently studying event project management (Master’s level).
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Good adaptability, rigor, organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoy working in a team and comfortable leading guided visits.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and common IT tools.
  • Hold a valid Category B driving licence.
  • Experience in the NGO sector is an advantage.
