Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize transportation activities across Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Hungary
Develop and expand transportation pipelines across the assigned countries, focusing on both domestic and cross-border operations
Source, evaluate, and onboard new transport partners, ensuring capacity, service levels, and cost efficiency
Coordinate and monitor day-to-day transportation activities across the area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
Optimize route planning, vehicle utilization, and scheduling to reduce transport costs and improve service levels
Collaborate closely with regional carriers and freight forwarders to maintain smooth operations in all markets
Ensure compliance with national and EU transport regulations and internal company standards
Support freight tenders, rate negotiations, and contract administration
Analyze transportation KPIs and carrier performance to identify and implement improvements
Serve as a key point of contact between the transportation function and internal stakeholders (warehousing, customer service, commercial)
Escalate and resolve delivery issues, delays, or disruptions while maintaining customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across all countries in the area
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Some experience in transportation coordination or logistics operations, preferably across multiple countries
Strong knowledge of the transport and logistics landscape in Central and Southeastern Europe
Experience in carrier sourcing, route optimization, and transport planning
Proficiency in Excel; experience with TMS (Transport Management Systems) is a plus
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Knowledge of local languages (Czech, Hungarian, Serbian, Croatian, or Slovenian) is an advantage
Ability to work independently across multiple countries and manage cross-border logistics complexity
Willingness to travel occasionally across the area
