Responsibilities
Animate characters, creatures, and props based on briefs, references, and direction
Apply acting choices and physicality that support the story and scene
Submit work for daily review and implement feedback promptly
Ensure animation scenes are clean, named correctly, and pipeline-compliant
Work with layout, rigging, and CFX to ensure assets animate correctly
Flag rig or scene issues early and assist with fixes where possible
Maintain clean, versioned animation files ready for downstream use
Help maintain consistent motion and style across sequences
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Maya animation tools and workflows
Solid understanding of body mechanics, weight, and timing
Previous experience animating realistic creatures and characters in a professional studio environment
Attention to detail in facial and secondary motion
Good communication and collaboration across departments
Excellent communicator, sharing information clearly and actively listening
Strong time management, ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and escalate delays in a timely manner
Adaptable to change with the ability to stay focused and maintain a positive attitude
Driven to make things better with flexibility to change course when needed

4+ years in VFX or Animation field
