Agronomic Sales Advisor developing relationships with strategic retailers and growers in Northern Iowa. Driving sales targets for BASF seed and crop protection products.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain business relationships with retailers, growers and consultants identified as strategic to BASF
Act as the primary contact from BASF, including strategizing and tactics for both short-term and long-term
Create a plan for the top retailers in that territory for CP, Seed, and ST, and drive Seed conversations at Retail with the Seed Manager, Agronomist, and local Retail sales team
Create demand for BASF seed and chemical products with assigned growers and retailers
Maintain adherence to KPIs related to volume, share, value, and financial sales targets
Work relationships with local sales teams, technical service representatives, and strategic account managers to support the implementation of customer plans
Requirements
Have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
Are proficient in verbal and written communication with a strong emphasis on professionalism
Exhibit strong business acumen in all aspects of the role
Possess a proven track record in sales
Demonstrate exceptional time and resource management abilities
Utilize analytical skills to drive strategic decision-making
Are proficient in utilizing various digital tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and meeting targets by effectively utilizing digital tools such as Xarvio, and Sales X to achieve optimal results
