About the role
- Aerospace Operations Director responsible for overseeing ASC operations and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across multiple sites. Requires 10+ years of experience in operations and engineering in discrete manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and increase the operations of ASC Network, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Involve strategic planning, continuous improvement, and collaboration with multiple departments to achieve commercial and operational strategies and goals.
- Lead the Application Support Centers in various locations.
- Manage the Operations and CMS Manager at each site.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and review Environmental, Health, and Safety performance and prepare sites for audits.
- Create job descriptions, hire qualified personnel, and oversee employee training programs.
- Define, implement, and revise operational policies.
- Oversee the management of ASCs and monitor costs to maximize profits.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets.
- Develop, monitor, and drive improvement through Key Performance Indicators.
Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, engineering is ideal
- 10 + years of operations and engineering experience in discrete manufacturing with experience in highly regulated, low volume, high mix engineered products setting
- 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated success in driving performance improvements and metrics
- Experience developing short- and long-term visions for site processes, and structure
