About the role
- Operations Support managing transportation of fertilizers and chemicals. Performing maintenance tasks for agricultural inputs and equipment in Copeland, KS.
Responsibilities
- Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customers locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations.
- Operate equipment to accurately blend fertilizer.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming product shipments; maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
- Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities.
- Support miscellaneous operational needs including special projects, attending company-provided training, and providing cross-functional backup as required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain the following Endorsements upon hire: Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, Doubles/Triples Endorsement.
- Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs.
- Must be willing and able to work Ag Industry hours as seasonal needs dictate, which may include: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays.
- One or more years of related experience in agricultural operations, equipment operation, or facility/warehouse work.
- Working knowledge of basic farm equipment, agricultural practices, and local geography (roads, farms, field access points).
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in sequence, such as blending products, loading trucks, and completing deliveries.
- Able to troubleshoot issues and make quick, practical decisions.
- Comfortable with basic math and accurate counting.
- Works well with others and communicates clearly.
