Responsibilities
- Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customers locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations
- Operate equipment to accurately blend fertilizer
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming product shipments; maintain accurate warehouse inventory
- Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities
- Support miscellaneous operational needs including special projects, attending company-provided training, and providing cross-functional backup as required
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Must have or be willing to obtain the following Endorsements upon hire: Hazmat Endorsement Tanker Endorsement Doubles/Triples Endorsement
- Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs
- Must be willing and able to work Ag Industry hours as seasonal needs dictate, which may include: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays
- One or more years of related experience in agricultural operations, equipment operation, or facility/warehouse work
- Working knowledge of basic farm equipment, agricultural practices, and local geography (roads, farms, field access points)
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in sequence, such as blending products, loading trucks, and completing deliveries
- Able to troubleshoot issues and make quick, practical decisions
- Comfortable with basic math and accurate counting
- Works well with others and communicates clearly
