About the role

  • Provides quality education and maintains academic standards in teaching Accounting courses
  • Instruct students both in-person and asynchronously online
  • Maintain office hours and be available for student communication
  • Attend faculty meetings and workshops
  • Utilize technology to enhance course effectiveness

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Teaching experience at the college level preferred
  • Doctorate in Accounting or related discipline with Master’s in Accounting required
  • Professional certification in discipline specialty preferred (CPA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to travel weekly to required locations
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
