About the role

  • Account Executive managing client accounts and supporting product life cycle at Randa Apparel & Accessories. Responsible for driving business objectives and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • The Account Executive is responsible for managing client accounts and supporting the entire product life cycle, from planning & forecasting to sales analysis and logistics.
  • Develops and implements business plans for assigned account(s) to facilitate achievement of short-term and long-term financial goals.
  • Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships.
  • Prepares for and attends client meetings, ensuring presentation materials, client decks, and product samples are organized for the meeting.
  • Analyzes sales and identifies retail trends to drive incremental sales and find opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Researches and creates reports for management as requested.
  • Provides feedback to Designers and Merchandisers to ensure products meet client expectations and are within target costing.
  • Manages customer communications and resolves issues in partnership with Merchandising, Design, Planning, Distribution Centers, and other key teams.
  • Writes and completes internal production orders to begin the ‘go to market’ process of bringing the product to stores.
  • Manages orders, shipping, logistics, and other day-to-day client issues.
  • Works with the demand planning team on forecasts to ensure appropriate inventory levels are supported.
  • All other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree/experience
  • Required: 3-5 years’ experience in Sales or Buying experience
  • Preferred: Retail buying office or vendor/wholesale industry experience
  • Experience with account databases, including Retail Link, Supplier One, Nova, Scintilla, Supplier Quote, Bamboo Rose, IDM, Madrid, and ADS/ISAM
  • Proficient understanding & execution of “Retail Math”
  • Supervisory experience and/or leadership skills
  • Computer literate in Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite products (especially Excel)
  • Excellent presentation skills for internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel frequently on domestic and international trips (25% - 30%), previous experience traveling overseas is a plus.
