About the role

  • Oversee successful execution of client programs and maintain and expand strong relationships with key accounts
  • Serve as a strategic partner to airline clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving achievement of business objectives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, fostering strong relationships and understanding their needs and goals
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue generation
  • Develop account strategies and collaborate with clients to align program objectives with their business objectives
  • Conduct regular account reviews and present performance reports to clients, highlighting achievements and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client requirements
  • Engage with senior executives, both internally and externally, to present program updates and discuss strategic initiatives
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, facilitating their professional growth and development
  • Analyze program performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to program management and account direction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of airline experience in payments, revenue accounting or similar functional areas
  • 5+ years of enterprise-level account management
  • Proven track record navigating complex situations
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and renewals with key accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to understand client objectives and align programs accordingly
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proactive, fast learner, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to thrive in a ‘remote first’ arrangement with a distributed organization in multiple time zones
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
