Key Account Manager in Düsseldorf managing clients in grocery retail for HOMANN, a food company. Responsible for strategy implementation, contract negotiations, and market analysis.
Responsibilities
You will independently manage and develop selected grocery retail customers in the branded business in close coordination with the Key Account lead.
You will implement the brand- and customer strategies defined by Key Account Management for our Fish Business Unit to achieve long-term increases in distribution and visibility of our branded products.
You will support and conduct contract negotiations and annual review meetings, and implement the agreed measures on the customer side.
You will carry out market and competitor monitoring, including store checks, and derive customer potential from your findings.
Requirements
You hold a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
You have initial professional experience in customer and market development within the FMCG sector and ideally possess knowledge of the grocery retail industry.
You are willing to travel to implement regional marketing activities and to take part in trade fairs.
You are prepared to work in a hybrid model: in addition to mobile/remote work options, you are willing to be regularly present on site in Düsseldorf.
Strong communication skills and negotiation ability are among your key strengths.
You think analytically, are confident with numbers, and keep an overview even in complex situations.
The ability to work independently, reliably and in a goal-oriented manner completes your profile.
