Manager - ME overseeing manufacturing capacity planning and process development in ZF's Commercial Vehicle Solutions division in India.
Responsibilities
To map the manufacturing capacity and demand and to ensure the capacity to meet the demand.
To plan the process, facilities and tooling for the new products and product variants and prove them.
To ensure the completion of process development activities as per the timing plan.
To eliminate process related failure modes for new products and product variants
To develop competency of members in process planning and proving by identifying training needs and arrange for training.
To closely work with Operation, Quality & Project team for training of operators, team leaders, resolving ramp up and quality issues, project delivery monitoring.
Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute.
10+ years experience as a qualified Mechanical Engineer
Experience in a reputed automotive component manufacturer or OEM.
Track record of experience in various manufacturing systems, facilities, sub systems and maintenance
Experience in Time study, Motion study, Layout planning and other industrial engineering function.
Experience in process planning and proving for new products.
Experience in implementation of continuous improvement (Kaizen) and waste elimination activities.
