About the role
- Area Manager overseeing a team for high-impact fundraising campaigns for ALSAC. Driving revenue growth and managing donor relationships within Southern California.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team responsible for executing high-impact fundraising campaigns including dinner events, galas, golf tournaments, fitness events (walks, endurance races), and peer-to-peer initiatives.
- Manage your own donor portfolio.
- Lead the execution of experiential fundraising programs and initiatives within assigned Southern California markets, ensuring strong performance and alignment with Area business plans.
- Drive revenue growth across multiple fundraising channels, ensuring achievement of financial goals and budget targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2–3 fundraising professionals.
- Lead planning and execution of major events ensuring excellence in logistics, volunteer engagement, and donor experience.
- Cultivate relationships with individual donors and corporate sponsors.
- Recruit, train, and manage executive-level volunteer committees.
Requirements
- 3 years in fundraising, nonprofit development, or event management.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Proven success in leading fundraising campaigns and managing donor portfolios.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with committee development, corporate sponsorships, and high-wealth donor engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and lead a team effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven fundraising strategies.
- Driver's License : A valid driver's license is required for this role.
