About the role

  • FP&A Manager guiding strategic financial planning and decision-making at Zema Global. Supporting growth in commodities and energy sectors through analytical financial oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models that integrate SaaS revenue streams (subscriptions, professional services) and payments revenue streams (interchange, value-added services), including cash flow forecasts and sensitivity/scenario analyses.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and planning support to the C-suite and functional leaders.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to company leaders to evaluate initiatives, pricing models, customer acquisition strategies, and key SaaS/Payments metrics.
  • Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis and board decks.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on monthly variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast, providing clear commentary on business drivers.
  • Lead the buildout and optimization of FP&A tools and dashboards.
  • Drive automation of reporting and planning processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 6+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with exposure to SaaS, Payments, or Commodities/Energy industries
  • Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting and modelling for complex revenue streams
  • Advanced knowledge of FP&A processes, management reporting and financial systems
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of improving processes, implementing automation and enhancing reporting efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences.
