About the role

• Redakteur producing TikTok video content for DIE ZEIT's Hochkant-Ressort. Collaborating across teams, analyzing performance, and contributing creatively to digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

• You conceptualize and produce content for our Vertical Desk for TikTok and other platforms.
• You can script short-form videos, support shoots, and—if needed—also edit.
• For this you maintain close contact with our various desks.
• You analyze the performance of posts on our platforms and further develop formats.
• If you can imagine appearing on camera yourself, we welcome applications in video format.

Requirements

• You have a strong interest in news and are well informed about trends and developments in social media.
• You have experience in conceiving and producing short-form videos for TikTok.
• You can work with sound journalistic standards.
• You remain calm under pressure and act quickly and reliably.
• You communicate in a friendly manner and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
