About the role

• Product Owner driving product development in a hybrid work environment for a global financial consulting firm. Collaborating with teams to maximize productivity and align on project goals in software development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Product Managers and Product Delivery Lead to understand the overarching product vision and goals of the project.
• Translate these into actionable tasks, features, bugs, and epics that guide the development process.
• Employ a keen sense of prioritization to ensure that the team is focusing on the most valuable features and tasks.
• Facilitate the agile framework within the team, ensuring Scrum events and agile practices are applied effectively.
• Actively seek opportunities to maximize the productivity and efficiency of the Scrum team.
• Engage with the Product Delivery Lead, Engineering Manager, Product Managers, Developers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery or quality.
• Encourage a culture of learning and experimentation within the team.

Requirements

• Prior experience (2 to max. 5 years) as a Product Owner in a software development environment
• Certified Product Owner (CSPO or PSPO) is a plus
• Experience with Agile project management and related tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders effectively while maintaining clarity and focus amidst complexity
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Balance between having a strong opinion and being flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances — pragmatic decision-making is essential in navigating dynamic project requirements
• Solid understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and best practices
• Fluent level of English (spoken and written).
