About the role

  • Senior Sales Representative managing client relationships and driving sales growth for Xylem, a global leader in water solutions. Responsible for lead generation, account management, and effective product communication.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and prospects
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Conduct sales meetings and presentations
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross selling opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned territory
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects in territory
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities in territory
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of company's products and services
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Submit necessary paperwork and reports in a timely manner
  • Manage and track expenses related to sales activities

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of water treatment systems and methods
  • Extensive knowledge of water treatment methods including water softening, carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, UV purification, and deionization (Preferred)
