About the role

  • Engineer overseeing environmental studies in contaminated sites and soils for WSP France. Preparing field interventions and drafting technical reports under project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in carrying out environmental studies and assignments related to contaminated sites and soils.
  • Prepare field interventions in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to drafting technical reports and organizing project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • Monitor and coordinate diagnostic investigations and/or remediation works on site.
  • Conduct environmental sampling and measurements.
  • Supervise drilling and remediation contractors.
  • Strictly implement quality assurance and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) procedures.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in contaminated sites and soils;
  • Strong knowledge of technical and regulatory aspects: site investigations, human health risk assessments, management plans, and project management/oversight of remediation works;
  • Ability to manage the administrative and financial aspects of projects;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Good HSE awareness for field operations;
  • Valid driving license (category B) required.
