Responsibilities
Planning, design and engineering of control cabinets, PLC systems, and electrical drive systems for our highly specialized film stretching machines
Creation and continuous improvement of circuit diagrams, terminal and wiring diagrams, cable lists, control cabinet layouts, and parts lists (bills of materials)
Performing commissioning — both at our works and on-site with customers worldwide
Independently taking on coordination and project management tasks within national and international projects
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation Engineering or equivalent qualification
Solid experience with CAE systems, ideally EPLAN
Experience programming SIMATIC systems (TIA Portal, S7, WinCC)
Strong understanding of drive and control technology
Practical experience with fieldbus systems as well as visualization and operator panels
Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style, with a high degree of flexibility and resilience
Willingness to travel extensively for worldwide assignments
