About the role

  • Engineer in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Lindauer DORNIER GmbH. Planning and project management of electrical control systems and components for high-tech film production machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, design and engineering of control cabinets, PLC systems, and electrical drive systems for our highly specialized film stretching machines
  • Creation and continuous improvement of circuit diagrams, terminal and wiring diagrams, cable lists, control cabinet layouts, and parts lists (bills of materials)
  • Performing commissioning — both at our works and on-site with customers worldwide
  • Independently taking on coordination and project management tasks within national and international projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Solid experience with CAE systems, ideally EPLAN
  • Experience programming SIMATIC systems (TIA Portal, S7, WinCC)
  • Strong understanding of drive and control technology
  • Practical experience with fieldbus systems as well as visualization and operator panels
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style, with a high degree of flexibility and resilience
  • Willingness to travel extensively for worldwide assignments
