About the role

Responsibilities

  • Client consulting and vendor management
  • Project coordination from inquiry to delivery
  • Handling complaints
  • Process optimization
  • Project preparation and follow-up
  • Working with complex file formats (e.g., XML, XLIFF) and troubleshooting
  • Managing projects with specific technical requirements
  • Creating and updating translation memories (TMs) and termbases
  • Creating style guides and references for translators
  • Contributing ideas to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Using technical tools for automated quality assurance

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in a commercial/business or language-related field
  • Several years of experience in project-related work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Empathy and foresight
  • Fluent in German and English; an additional foreign language is a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Technical understanding of language processing
  • Experience in translation memory management
  • Advanced knowledge of common CAT and TMS systems (e.g., Phrase, Trados)
