About the role

  • Project Manager managing projects and leading teams at Woodward, delivering energy control solutions. Mentoring project coordinators and responsible for project results and artifacts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects
  • Mentor Project Coordinators
  • Accountable for project results
  • Responsible for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.)
  • Lead project meetings and reviews
  • Accountable for project gates and deliverables
  • Build trust, resolving conflicts, and fostering collaboration among team members
  • Manage schedules, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
  • Convey project information to stakeholders, team members, and sponsors
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analyze situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions
  • Estimate, allocate, and manage project budgets
  • Create teamwork by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication
  • Adjust plans in response to changing circumstances or new information

Requirements

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
  • The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee)
