About the role

  • Project Administrator supporting high-profile UK projects within Wood's Upstream team. Responsible for proactive administrative support across multiple core projects in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day‑to‑day operation of four core projects.
  • This position is responsible for delivering organised, proactive administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and documentation, coordinating internal workflows, managing correspondence, and ensuring databases and project systems are up to date and compliant.
  • As an experienced Project Administrator, you will act as a central point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • You will support the wider project team by ensuring information is communicated clearly, tasks are tracked and completed within agreed timelines, and processes run seamlessly from initiation to completion.
  • Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise effectively will be essential to supporting successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum GSE level of English is required along with a sound general education
  • Proven admin experience, preferably in the Engineering/ Oil & gas/ Construction industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Effective organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Positively maintain relationships with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders
