About the role

  • Sales professional supporting metals & mining sales at Wood Mackenzie. Collaborating with internal teams and driving commercial opportunities across the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our metals & mining solutions
  • Partner with Vertical Sales colleagues for new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with NCD Sales team across the sales cycle
  • Own a sales plan for your territory
  • Identify key growth markets and develop sales strategies
  • Work closely with Product and Research teams for product development

Requirements

  • Significant experience in client-facing, pre-sales, or technical / solution specialist roles
  • Experience engaging with mining companies, banks, or investment funds
  • Strong understanding of the metals & mining industry
  • Extensive commercial track record in client development
  • Solution-oriented and results-oriented attitude
  • Proven track record of collaborating with different internal teams
  • Outstanding judgment in resource utilization
  • Passion for business growth
  • Intellectual curiosity about data and analysis
  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Previous experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) advantageous
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish desirable
