About the role

  • Account Executive managing customer relationships and driving sales growth for Waste Management services. Requires field visits and strong negotiation skills to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in prospective and current WM customers.
  • Responsible for managing existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sound retention strategies.
  • Utilize strong negotiation efforts to preserve business and secure contracts.
  • Prospect and close sales to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reduce lost accounts and meet or exceed sales call activity goals.
  • Increase revenue and profitability through retention calls.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (accredited); in lieu of degree, High School Diploma (accredited) and 5-years sales experience.
  • Experience: Three (3) years in a non-consumer based industrial sales, commercial sales, or service industry environment.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior outside sales and prospecting experience.
