About the role

Responsibilities
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
- Coordinates the implementation of accounting control
- Prepares journal entries for entry into the general ledger system monthly by collecting necessary data, analyzing and/or allocating costs
- Prepares audit trail support for the journal entries
- Analyzes general ledger accounts for accuracy; analyzes accrual accounts to ensure proper accruals
- Collects and analyzes financial data and prepares monthly combined financial statements and reports
- Participates in monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of monthly financial reports
- Assists with the preparation of year-end closings
- Prepares annual long-term and short-term financial statements in compliance with accounting guidelines and U.S. GAAP
- Assists in the preparation of working papers for annual audit
- Helps maintain strong internal controls over fixed assets and parts inventory through timely documentation and reconciliation activities
- Acts transparently, owns mistakes, and leverages failures as catalysts for growth
- Ensures financial reporting integrity through timely and accurate monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Fosters a collaborative team environment through genuine engagement and trust‑building behaviors
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant experience
- Zero (0) to three (3) years of relevant experience (in addition to education requirement)
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
