About the role

  • Senior Accountant responsible for processing supplier invoices and supporting finance operations at Tototheo Global. Joining a team focused on operational efficiency in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

  • Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices accurately
  • Track and prepare payment runs for review and approval
  • Maintain and update vendor records and related documentation
  • Enter financial data into the company’s accounting system (Microsoft Business Central – formerly Navision)
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Review and process employee expenses and ensure proper documentation
  • Monitor project- or job-related expenses and allocations
  • Support internal departments with finance-related queries and processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations as needed
  • Prepares monthly reporting and presents it to the Senior Financial Controller
  • Oversees the Accounting Officers team and ensures that the correct procedures as determined by the company are followed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) is preferred
  • Understanding of multi-currency and cross-border accounting practices
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability
  • Optional Skills: Experience in the maritime, logistics, or technology sectors is a strong advantage
  • Experience with electronic invoicing systems and automation tools is a plus
  • Participation in process improvement initiatives within the finance function is desirable
  • Awareness of industry-specific regulations or tax rules (e.g., IMO standards, Vessels, VAT for maritime services and goods etc..)
