Responsibilities
Responsibility for the prototype shop, including ensuring quality, delivery dates, costs and production readiness
Organizing and managing resources (personnel, machines, materials, equipment) and ensuring parts availability during the product development phase
Coordinating interfaces between development, project management, logistics, assembly, shipping and external partners
Managing production trials, production changeovers and new-part ramp-ups, including contributing to the handover of prototypes into series production
Leading, developing and motivating employees as well as continuously improving processes, workstations and work systems
Requirements
Technical vocational training plus an additional technician/master craftsman qualification or a degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics)
At least 3 years of professional experience
Ideally some initial leadership experience in an industrial environment
Strong organizational and coordination/control skills
Solid knowledge of production planning, production control, material flow and quality assurance
Experience in interdisciplinary project work and in the transition from development to series production
Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong communication skills and assertiveness
