About the role

  • Events Marketing Manager leading marketing strategies for investments company focusing on American and Asian markets. Collaborating across teams to achieve audience engagement and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the marketing strategies and go to market plan for all conferences within the American events portfolio
  • Expertly deliver marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness and drive delegate acquisition
  • Work closely with various teams, including our Investor Relations, Content, Operations, Commercial and support function teams to co-ordinate an active engagement plan for our target audience
  • Work with other internal brands and platforms to build an audience of engaged contacts
  • Support outreach for sponsorship across the portfolio
  • Create accurate and in-depth data research requests for various audiences relevant to each event
  • Report on the progress of the event marketing strategy – providing feedback on successes and failures – ensuring we deliver audience targets
  • Achieve relevant KPIs and targets as set out by the team and be able to pivot campaign to ensure these are hit
  • Mentoring of junior marketing executives

Requirements

  • Excellent organisation skills for planning and delivering – this is very important around events because they’re so time sensitive
  • Previous experience of working in a B2B event marketing
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and ambitious, willing to participate in the team and be a stakeholder in developing this fast-growing brand
  • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with all levels of leadership and across multiple teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working within the investment management space preferred, but not expected
