About the role
- Senior Sales Executive responsible for driving new business development within the energy sector for Wirtek. Focusing on building pipeline, engaging clients across Europe, and positioning as a long-term partner.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development within the energy sector and related industries
- Identify and close opportunities for software development, IoT, integration and digital services engagements
- Build and manage a strong pipeline from early dialogue to signed agreements
- Actively prospect and open new accounts (hunter role)
- Position Wirtek as a long-term services partner, not just a project-based vendor
- Engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to shape compelling solutions
- Contribute to go-to-market approach and service positioning
- Maintain structured pipeline management and forecasting in HubSpot
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales of IT services
- Proven track record in hunting, opening accounts and closing deals
- Experience in energy, industrial, IoT or similar environments
- Strong understanding of software development services, IoT / automation / integration, and data-driven solutions
- Ability to sell services-based engagements, not just products
- Strong communication skills across C-level and technical stakeholders
- Existing network in the energy sector is a strong advantage
- Experience with structured sales processes and CRM tools (HubSpot)
