Responsibilities
- Create secure and delightful real-time communication
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and customer-facing teams to drive adoption of calling product line
- Shape the roadmap of the calling product in collaboration with the cross-functional Calling team
- Lead discovery efforts with users, customers, and partners
- Contribute to defining overall product strategy and influence how calling product aligns with Wire’s global goals
- Drive strategic development of secure calling and conferencing product offering
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience with video conferencing platforms, VoIP systems, or media streaming technologies
- Familiarity with the field requirements of live communication (codecs, protocols, deployment requirements)
- Understanding of network protocols and real-time media transmission challenges
- Strong communication and influencing skills in cross-functional settings with empowered engineering teams
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively between engineering and business teams
