Service Provider Manager supporting NYC Accelerator program in New York. Managing service provider network and facilitating energy efficiency and decarbonization projects.
Responsibilities
Manage the service provider network, including qualification, onboarding, and ongoing participation in the Momentum platform.
Lead RFQ and RFP processes, including provider verification, informational sessions, and tracking applications and inquiries.
Maintain the Service Provider Online Directory, ensuring accurate, consistent, and user-friendly provider profiles.
Support service providers in using Momentum, troubleshooting issues, and navigating RFPs, inquiries, and project workflows.
Monitor provider performance, including ratings, feedback, and complaints; escalate issues and manage underperforming providers as needed.
Identify gaps in the provider network and recruit new businesses to address market, geographic, or service-area needs.
Support development of standardized scopes of work to promote clear project requirements and consistent bidding.
Proactively gather and analyze provider feedback to inform continuous process and platform improvements.
Integrate equity goals into provider engagement, including outreach and support for MWBE firms and businesses located in Disadvantaged Communities.
Coordinate service provider trainings, webinars, and engagement activities in collaboration with the NYC Accelerator team.
Track and report on service provider activity, performance metrics, and trends to support program strategy and reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, partners, and city agencies to meet program objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or building related field
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience with building contractors, property management firms, energy efficiency, clean energy, and/or electrification programs, energy sales, and/or incentive programs.
Strong oral and written communication skills for engaging diverse NYC building stakeholders and subcontractors.
Experience with project management platforms and CRM’s.
Ability and desire to work collaboratively with clients and internal staff.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Sound reasoning, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities to serve clients in real time.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.
Ability to attend events in NYC as required.
Experience working with real estate stakeholders and contractor communities preferred.
Working knowledge of energy efficiency, clean energy, and electrification products and services preferred.
Familiarity with NYC local energy laws and building related compliance and policies preferred.
