About the role

  • Sr. Manager, Merchandising Men responsible for regional merchandising strategy and collaboration with EMEA and Global teams. Focused on delivering seasonal assortments across Retail, Ecommerce, and Wholesale channels.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for shaping and delivering the regional merchandising strategy and go-to-market execution across Retail, Ecommerce, and Wholesale channels in EMEA.
  • Act as a key regional merchandising leader, partnering closely with both local EMEA commercial teams and Global teams in Vancouver.
  • Partner with our Merchandise Planning and Allocations (MP&A), Visual Merchandising and Commercial teams to align category product strategies with overall global merchandising direction.
  • Support company goals by focusing on local consumer needs and brand opportunities.
  • Deliver clear category frameworks that guide execution across retail, wholesale, and digital.
  • Create strategic seasonal selling plans (grow, hold, diminish, exit, launch) and manage sell‑in vs. sell‑through dynamics.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Merchants, MP&A, and Visual Merchandising to ensure aligned, cross‑functional execution.
  • Support and mentor Merchants through partnership and capability building, delivering clear, compelling product and assortment presentations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Outdoor, Sports, or Premium Retail with hands‑on merchandising, buying, and commercial decision‑making across DTC and/or Wholesale.
  • Strong understanding of European retail markets and can turn consumer and trend insights into commercial strategies.
  • Fluent in retail math — sell‑through, margin, COGs, OTB, inventory, and data‑driven decisions.
  • Communicate clearly, present confidently, and stay highly organized across multiple priorities.
  • Lead through influence and collaboration, not authority — especially with Senior Merchants, MP&A, and VM.
  • Think strategically, execute pragmatically, and have contributed to multi‑year category or business strategies.
  • Knowledge of the outdoor and active apparel market and the activities our products serve.
  • Willing to travel for trade shows, dealer meetings, market visits and, willing to travel to Global HQ- Vancouver, Canada on a fixed cadence (4 round trips per year to Vancouver to participate in key meetings).
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, diagnose root causes, and develop actionable solutions.
  • Adaptable and resilient when operating in ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Balance autonomy with collaboration and know when to escalate or align.
  • Inspire continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Pursue the best solutions with integrity, even when they are not the easiest path.
