About the role

  • Customer Service Manager leading teams in Benelux, UK, and Switzerland for a global maritime company. Focused on customer satisfaction and commercial performance in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the Customer Service teams to deliver high customer satisfaction and commercial performance
  • Ensuring execution of sales strategies, product campaigns, and promotional activities
  • Driving proactive quote follow‑up, order handling, and sales contribution
  • Monitoring and achieving KPIs related to sales growth, order value, response time, and customer satisfaction
  • Identifying and acting on sales opportunities through customer interaction and data insights
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring structured, efficient, and consistent ways of working across the team

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or similar), preferably in a commercial field
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial role
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong communication skills and a good eye for business opportunities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Experience from the maritime industry (an advantage)
  • Analytical skills and digital literacy to identify opportunities through customer data
  • A systematic and organized approach to managing multiple processes and priorities
