About the role

  • Child Welfare Case Manager supporting children and families in Florida's Dependency Court system. Applying advanced social work knowledge and experience to provide services ensuring child safety.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Child Welfare Case Manager – Specialized primary duty is the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge in the field of social work or human behavioral studies.
  • Responsible for taking appropriate actions to ensure that every child has a permanent home that provides physical and emotional safety.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent and four years of full-time social work or human services experience; or associate degree or 60+ credit hours from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional work experience or two (2) years of full-time social work or human services experience.
  • Must be Certified as a Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM) or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.
