About the role
- Software Developer specializing in C/C++ for vehicle development. Focusing on HMI, Embedded systems, and backend integration in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Development, integration and maintenance of software solutions for our vehicles, in particular in the areas of HMI, embedded control systems and backend
- Analysis and troubleshooting of complex system landscapes
- Creation and maintenance of software architectures as well as documentation at system and software level
- Verification and validation of software components
- Execution and documentation of unit, integration and and system tests
- Development of tools for test automation and application software
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering or a related field, or vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of C/C++ (and ideally C#) as well as embedded development with microcontrollers
- Experience with software architectures, design patterns, development processes and testing methods
- Knowledge of fieldbus systems such as CAN, CANopen, I2C, SPI or Ethernet is an advantage
- Ideally experience with UDS, KWP2000 and functional safety
- High quality awareness, strong team skills and excellent communication abilities
- Very good German and good English skills
