About the role
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-native solutions that span AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Act as a senior individual contributor by writing production-quality code for infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
- Architect and deploy infrastructure solutions to support the development and scaling of AI and ML models.
- Lead the design and review process for new cloud solutions.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance across all cloud platforms.
- Drive the automation of cloud operations and management. Develop and maintain tools and scripts using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Integrate security best practices into all aspects of the cloud architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, acting as a subject matter expert for all things cloud.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in a hands-on cloud engineering or architecture role
- Expert-level proficiency in coding and scripting with Python, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Proven experience developing and deploying infrastructure for AI solutions using services like AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, and other related cloud services
- Strong, hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity and access management (IAM) principles across multiple cloud providers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
