IT Support Technician troubleshooting technical issues and delivering support at Westinghouse Electric Company. Providing on-site and remote assistance for IT operations in a nuclear technology environment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver support, remote and on-site support.
Manage VIP support requests, maintaining a high standard of efficiency.
Operate within the Service Management system, resolving tickets.
Document ticket management, troubleshooting methods, and solutions.
Maintain knowledge base articles for both end-users and IT staff.
Ensure inventory records are up to date.
Offer support for hardware and software, including printers, conference room technology, and shared resources.
Be the site support IT representative in internal projects.
Configure computers, phones, and other hardware.
Requirements
Higher education in IT or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of one year of experience/support in an IT environment
Experience from a manufacturing environment
Experience providing IT support within large organizations
Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and proficiency with ITSM tools
Knowledge in Windows environments and basic networking concepts
Competence in hardware troubleshooting
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Driver license (Swedish B license)
