About the role

  • Project Procurement Manager responsible for procurement programs and supply chain strategies at Westinghouse. Leading cross-functional teams to ensure execution readiness and compliance for energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee execution of project sourcing strategies
  • Build and use relationships with BU project teams to understand and develop procurement solutions.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure agreement on our goals
  • Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements on projects
  • Contribute to project planning proposals and approval stage-gates
  • Preparation and coordination of the RFx process for assigned projects
  • Partner with business unit to improve sourcing strategies and supplier engagement
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and team members while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
  • Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures.
  • Make a purchase order or contract, then manage supply and supplier commitments.
  • Support Accounts Payables for resolution of discrepancies between the supplier invoices and the purchase orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supply chain management, with at least 3 years in project management
  • Experience working with and across global teams
  • We prefer experience in sourcing, supplier management, and knowledge of the supplier base for the nuclear sector.
  • Expertise in procurement systems (SAP, Ariba) or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to travel from 10 to 20%
