About the role

  • Portfolio Manager III managing complex loans while ensuring compliance with banking regulations at Western Alliance Bank. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to support credit needs and loan processing.

Responsibilities

  • responsible for analyzing, structuring, underwriting, and coordinating closing of loans
  • manage loans to ensure credit risks are monitored and identified
  • assist in attaining established Bank, region, and branch goals
  • assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures
  • interface with clients to assess credit needs and determine best structure
  • gather and analyze necessary information for financing requests
  • coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure loans are processed per agreement

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or similar field
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring
  • Credit analyst training completed
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
