Responsibilities

  • Procurement of production, service and maintenance materials
  • Planning and procurement of printing supplies
  • Preparing and sending inquiries and placing call-offs under framework agreements
  • Evaluating and comparing different offers
  • Processing order confirmations and coordinating discrepancies
  • Ensuring and monitoring delivery dates and requirements
  • Handling delivery reminders and complaints processing
  • Conducting price checks and inquiries for purchased parts
  • Managing and processing accompanying shipping documents
  • General administrative tasks including master data maintenance in the ERP system

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Professional experience in purchasing, ideally at a publishing house
  • Good knowledge of common Microsoft Office programs
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills with assertiveness
  • Customer-oriented and structured way of working
