Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the finance team's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflows and alignment with company objectives.
- Take responsibility for financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles, to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting for internal stakeholders, investors, and banking partners.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to management and cross-functional teams by assessing the financial impact of market opportunities and strategic initiatives, such as profitability analyses and payback period analyses.
- Work closely with the accounting team to evaluate and improve financial processes and structures, promoting scalability through the assessment and implementation of new tools and systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners as the primary point of contact and ensure effective financial communication and coordination.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g., consulting, FP&A in SMEs)
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of team development and setting ambitious goals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, pragmatic approach, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence and clarity to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization — from executives to project teams.
- Demonstrated project management skills, having led complex initiatives with measurable impact.
- Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1).
