Responsibilities
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root-cause analysis of data following all compliance and business metrics
- Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
- Review and analyze strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of the support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Collaborate and consult with senior leaders and executive management
Requirements
- 1+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
- Military experience in any branch of service: Army, National Guard, Air Force, Space Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or Reserves
- Experience supporting Operational Risk, Technology Risk, or Compliance Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) and Issue Management experience
- Sound analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including importing, exporting, and manipulating data
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications and use search tools to validate information
- Collaborative team player with flexibility to work across all organizational levels
- Self‑starter who works independently, proactively, and creatively while using sound judgment
- Experience identifying, recommending, or implementing process improvements
- Willingness to move forward with Citizen Process Development
